This squeaking brake noise is driving me crazy now... I know it's normal when reversing, but I can hear it even at low speeds (14-30km/h), intermittently... sometimes with the wheels straight, sometimes when I turn left. If I press the brake lightly, it goes away... if I heat the brakes enough, it seems to disappear, but as soon as they cool down, it appears again, it's almost embarrassing. I've always accepted that the brakes squeak... but that they squeak without the brakes really bothers me, and I'd like to know if I'm the only one who hears it... unfortunately, it's difficult to notice with the windows closed, but I can hear it, and if I test with the windows down... there it is... it's my daily, I don't want to leave it at the mechanic's for a thousand tests, etc., has anyone had the same problem and found an effective solution? I only want to fix the squeaking when I don't brake, everything else is fine.
