As well as doing an advanced driving course for the road, I'm also interested in learning a bit more about the limits of the car, and how to handle it in different situations. Obviously, not something to do on public roads, so looking for options on what's available, and what others can recommend.

I'm in the East Midlands, but obviously happy to travel a bit as any excuse to drive it really!

I am of a similar mind and would be interested in any advice offered to Kinboshi. I’m based in Lincolnshire.

We did an autotest with a local motorsport club.

Usually a tenner to join the club and twenty for the days testing.

Perfect way to have fun and learn in a controlled environment on the cheap

Have a look at Drive Limits:

My other club (GT86 BRZ Drivers Club) had regular events for club members and the feedback was very positive. Maybe see if you can get a few together to do it as a group?

I admit I haven't done it, but only really because I've had quite a lot of instruction in my time.

Just like this thread. ;)

CAT Driver Training at Milbrook are the team to go to. Very experienced, the team have been operating for several years, run by Colin who is very good. Highly recommended.
If anybody would like some one to one trackday coaching I’m an ARDS Grade A instructor, I’ve been circuit instructing since 1985 and I’m an ex racer and National single seater championship winner.
