After installing a wireless CarPlay adapter in the armrest cubby, and MagSafe charger powered from the glovebox, my armrest storage was not getting used. I didn’t want it open to hold bottles, so I went on the hunt for a bottle or flask that was small enough to fit (if anyone is interested, 106mm maximum height, 71mm maximum diameter).
I managed to find an insulated flask on AliExpress and ordered 2 - one for me, one for my wife. Came to about £7.50 each delivered. Usable volume is about 200ml, which is admittedly tiny but enough to hold a small latte/flat white. The fit was a bit tight with the OEM rubber mat at the bottom of the cupholders, the doors didn’t latch reliably. Today I replaced the mat with some self adhesive baize (felt) that I cut to size and the fit is much better.
