GR86 Anyone had wheels resprayed silver or another colour?

Thinking of getting the wheels redone in silver. Has anyone done this who can share a photo?

Is that shadow chrome as well?

Where are people getting these done and how much? What is the procedure with getting the wheels to them?

Yes shadow chrome went for a slightly lighter shade as wanted to get away from the black finish which I really didn't like

The wheels cost me £480 I left the car with them for a week as I had the calipers smoothed & painted as well but I think it was well worth it the car now looks how I want it to

Yes, mine is booked in to get the Calipers painted at the end of the month.
leaving car with them for three days, they are going to take them right off, lightly blast them in their cabinate, prime, paint and lacquer them, and then re-fit. Quite labour intensive I guess, so not going to be cheap, but still considerable cheaper than current brake upgrades out there, and as not planning on tracking the car, the standard brakes should be more than adequate.
With the powder coated wheels, should really set the car off nicely👍
Just got to wait now till 28th August🤣

I thought you said a few weeks back that your wheels were paint rather than powder coating? Or was that someone else?

No, always was going to be powder coated, but having the Calipers painted👍
 
I got a quote from a local, well regarded place

The only reason I haven't had them done is they need the car for more than a day and I use it to commute
