Just after a bit of help. I need some after market locking wheel nuts.

Can someone confirm the size as M12 x 1.5, think thats OEM size?
Suggest any suppliers. I know of Muteki, Rays... Any others I should look at?
Straight/tapered/open/extended or not?
Whether it's worth paying more for lighter weight, say aluminium over steel?
Anything else I should know?

They're for a spare set of wheels mainly for road use, but maybe a little track use over time.
Thanks

60 degree tapered will suit most aftermarket wheels. Check the hole diameter because you may be able to fit a shaft nut and get a couple of extra turns. However, usually, Japanese wheels have a smaller hole and I haven’t found any shaft nuts to fit my Advan’s - but I get 9 turns with a standard 60 deg taper nut which is fine. You need more than 6-7 really, 8 preferable.

I have open nuts because at some point I’m going to fit extended wheel bolts and that’ll be one less thing to buy.

And yes it’s M12 x 1.5

If I remember correctly there is sth like a washer included and it's not attached to the rest of the wheel nut, so you or whoever works on these need to be mindful not to misplace it, put it back every time you take it off, etc, which might be a bit annoying.

Also, if you declare something like this as a modification, some insurers while give you a nice discount.

I have Rays on my 86, I just think Black wheels should have Black nuts.
