I am looking to cut back on number of vehicles I own, I thought I would see if there is any interest on here before listing elsewhere.
I bought as had one 30 years ago and had room to squeeze in my garage
I believe this is one of the last Ford crossflow engine cars supplied by Caterham.
The Ford crossflow was used in Escort Mexico in tuned version and is easy to maintain
It was supplied by Caterham in complete new knock down kit including engine, gearbox and axle rather than from donor vehicles and built by previous owner who was an engineer and returned to factory for post build check.
I bought a couple of years ago, but am not using as much as I should and is available for new owner to enjoy.
It comes with masses of documentation receipts and build sheets.
Recent MOT and service and complete set of tyres and battery. The original tyres were still fitted when I bought and looked barely worn, so has not had a hard life and never raced or track days to my knowledge.
It is like a Go kart to drive and great fun.
It has the Ford Type 9 5 speed gearbox
Comes with tonneau cover side screens and wet weather gear plus jack and wheel change tools
Also has heater and heated front glass demister.
Last Dyno came out with just over 100BHP but as weighs so little, performance is exhilirating.
I have fitted a personal plate since photos, so you will not be able to see MOT details, but happy to provide.
