It seems that it only works with the usb cable it came with or the Apple OEM - maybe it need to be a high quality one. Either way it’s a bit of a squash to fit it in sideways due to the end of the cable being quite ridged. How did you mount yours?

Nav on my CarPlay is terribly unreliable. I’ve tried multiple leads, both Apple OEM and aftermarket. I’ve even tried a wireless dongle with no success. I did wonder if it was the phone (iPhone 15 pro), but it works fine in the other cars both wired and wireless. Any ideas as it’s driving me...

Cheers for the answer. I can understand the boot and bonnet lid, but the inside of the door is just strange! Cost saving gone mad!!

I have a red GR, and my mate has the grey one. I’ve noticed that the inside of the doors, bonnet, and boot lid on my car seem to be lacking lacquer. Is this something common to all GRs, or is it just more noticeable on the red? Pic below - it’s worse in reality:
