This was 100% the Steven Eagell demonstrator as I test drove it in November before the first batch arrived so wasn’t a canceled order.

That is the one I test drive originally, they’ve since added the body kit to it so it doesn’t look like factory. Just as a heads up in case you think it looks a bit funny.

From what I read that’s due to the smart alternator. I got fobbed off saying their test showed the battery is good. I’ll probably get a jump pack to have about in case it does it again. But not too happy, they also washed my car after I asked them not too :(

Has everything been okay with your since? Mine randomly was dead after two days of non driving. The AA roadside man said this: It’s currently in with Toyota to test it but they’ll probably give every excuse under the sun saying it’s not been driven enough.

Decided to get ppf on mine, apparently there was an issue with the front bonnet and bumper designs with xpel. So my car is now in Biggleswade at xpel being checked compared to their designs. So I’m being a Guinea Pig for anyone else getting xpel ppf.

I’m waiting till the new year as I don’t want to rush into it. Just going to do some homework on it first.

It got taken down the next day so we can assume they got too much heat from it.

They don’t automatically fold when it locks but I havnt checked if I can turn it on in the computer settings.

Yeah it has keyless entry, if you lock it then open with the key nearby it will unlock itself automatically. I checked like 10 times to ensure I had locked it. 🤣

Thanks for reminding me, I just called up my dealer and they said it’s not on the system yet for the gr86 service plan but it will be like the gr Yaris’ where there is a yearly safety check separately or something? They are going to email me the information. Did they mention anything like that...

Mine only started being found on the DVLA website today. I was in the car on my drive when I checked it and was amused it wasn't there, but I guess there must be some what of a delay between it being registered and being on the database.
