You may be right but I made sure to put them in the corresponding positions anyway. When I put the normal wheels back on in March the fronts and rear will be switched for the first time so I may test then to see if the fronts and rears switch by purposely under/over inflating one tyre. With the...
As an update off the back of my other messages, I bought the Autel sensors and reader back in November and fitted them to a bargain set of OEM GT86 wheels I got for £100 alongside Michelin Cross Climate 3 for a winter set. I did not go through the faff of trying to create a second profile and...
I am looking for both, I just see Autel pop up regularly. If somebody has a certain brand that works and can point me to buy the correct corresponding sensors I will get them.
Not had to change tyres on the GR yet but when I went from PS4 to PS5 in my last car (Kia Stinger 3.3) the grip and comfort seemed on par but they upped the durability massively. For reference with the exact same driving style and commutes over the years in the rears I only got 13k out the...
Is there anybody near Nottingham or the surrounding areas with one of these Autel readers and able to code to my car? I would travel to you of course. Just picked up some GT86 wheels for winter and about to get tyres mounted to them in the next 2 weeks. While it is still cheaper to buy a reader...
A new job means that the commute has jumped from 4k per year to 18k per year! Love the car and the intention is to run it indefinitely. A looming EV through work (boooo) means that at least a third of this mileage at least should be able to be brought down for the boring commuting miles in the...
Intrigued to hear how this is when you get it. I'm very close to pulling the trigger on either the Milltek or Cobra resonated. Both are within an hour from me to buy and get them to fit too. I'd love the AWE Touring but it's my wife's car and I know the cold start would just be way too much for...
My friend had an M8 Comp and got rid of it because it sounded so poor due to the latest noise regs. It sounded epic on the cold start and that was it. Once out of that it was really quiet and muted unless you were foot flat, at which point you are breaking every speed limit in 3 seconds. I...
That's a shame you are not closer. I might bite the bullet and drive the car to them to get fitted. I am only in Nottingham so not far to travel. Then there should not be any issues!
When I bought a Borla exhaust from the US (for my other car) it was £1,538 for the exhaust including shipping and £221 in taxes on top for some context.
Any update on this? Interested if you got the drone issue resolved after it had been adjusted. My wife wants and exhaust just so it sounds better than stock but I know she will begrudge paying a lot of money for it to drone away day to day.
Being on the quieter side is probably what my wife would prefer. She just wants bit more oopmh without it being really loud. The stock exhaust is quieter than the tyre noise!
Which HKS do you have? The Legamax, Spec L or L2?
Same question as above RE the HKS
Interested to hear if once it gets tightened up (assuming that is the problem) that your drone goes away. The GR86 is my wife's car and she wants more noise but without being asbo as it is a daily driver. She cringes whenever I have to start up my car and doesn't want to pay £1k to hate having...
Hoping they don't jack the price to an unreasonable level and it is still sub £40k. Intrigued to see how many will be available but after getting in on the first GR86 batch and waiting from April 2022 to August 2023 I don't think I can go through it again even though it is completely my wife's...
I also have a 3.3 Kia Stinger and everywhere else in the world the oil service is 10k/12 months and the UK has 6k/6 month intervals. For whatever reason Kia UK decided to set us up as severe usage to probably bleed us for more money. Probably the only way they would warrant a 3.3 twin turbo for...
