All my docs got signed electronically but I had to sign an order form on collection before release and that supercedes any other paperwork I signed so no 14 day cooling off period.

It is hard to believe what they say when you have an online team and a salesmen at a dealership who knows even less.
It’s probably worth doing an email so you have it saved if they will let you have a cooling off period but I imagine not.
Or be cheeky and ask your dealership...

I’d double check with TGB you can do this.
Once you sign an order form onsite to collect you can only return the vehicle for a full refund if found faulty. Distance selling rules no longer apply.
Toyota’s priority right now should be kicking the demonstrators out (if they can’t sort out the customers cars in the uk already)asap so they can build the excitement back up for those of us that payed a £1000 deposit months ago.
I’m sure once we have all driven it we won’t mind waiting a few...

Just call the toyota online team and they will tell you if you can change colour or not. If they can change it then great if not then you will have the to keep your original chosen colour or have your deposit back
If Toyota have sold all the uk allocation then they have 2 years to build and register 400ish cars. Some will be in for a long wait. They won’t be concerned if you cancel. Plenty of people willing to order and wait.

Agree. Couldn’t care less if it goes up in value goes down in value if they make a special edition or make more of them. I’m just glad i got an order in and want to drive the bloody thing as soon as.
The next stage is Toyota admin to input all the orders. If they need more info from you they will either call or email.
Once input you will have an email link to my Toyota app to track your order from build to delivery.
I can’t imagine any ‘no car’ calls if you have an order number and placed...
