Welcome to the forum, I doubt I'll be much help as my car hasn't arrived yet, but there's lots of good info on here. Was that Cambridge, guessing from your username? Might be useful to know so others don't have the same issues!

The Opal Ace has docked at Livorno, hopefully with my car still on it. I'm guessing it will be about a week to get to the UK now, then a week or two in Derby, then a week or two at the dealer before I can collect it? Sound about right?

I'm interested to hear how you get on with that, seems like a good solution.

The app has been quite good at updating the stages for me, but my order was confirmed on the 4th of September and is now on a ship approaching the Suez canal. Might be worth asking Toyota online for a update?

Roughly how long does it take from 'left the factory' to collection? I'm guessing 6-8 weeks but was just wondering what other people's experience was? Mine left the factory on the 14/9 and I've been given November as the estimated date.

I had my call from Toyota Online earlier, looking at a November delivery unless I get a cancellation.

I got my follow-up email from Toyota online as I was sitting on the runway at Heathrow, about to take off for the USA. Thankfully I got WiFi pretty quickly when I arrived and my order is now confirmed!
