A strange one today. Came back to the car after watching the ice hockey, started the car up and my Viofo A229 Pro (front and rear) was continuously beeping. It's happened a couple of times before, something to do with not writing to the card properly. As I went to turn it off, unplug and restart it I noticed the car had started up in track mode with both Traction and Stability Control off. I unplugged the cam, turned the car off and started it up again. Car turns on as usual again but dashcam issue still persisting. For info the dashcam is hardwired into the cabin fuse box and reviewing footage it looks like it was still doing parking mode recordings up to at least half an hour before I came back to the car.

I'm not so worried about the dashcam issue but potentially affecting the driver assists on startup does have me somewhat perplexed and concerned. Anyone ever encountered something similar?

Might you have leant on the Track button in the centre console when checking your dashcam? That's the only thing I can think of as I've never heard of a piggy-back fuse affecting the car in this fashion ...
PS: Get yourself a 'High Endurance' SD card from Amazon. I started using one in my BlackVue after similar problems with writing, but I've never had once since upgrading the card.

Nope haha, I have to reach up to play about with the cam as it's behind the rear view mirror. It's a high endurance card I've got, like I said it's only caused issues maybe three times in the last two years. Very strange!

I think I've found the issue.

No idea how its affected the car itself, but I suspect the card writing issue is due to reaching a max number of total recordings. I reckon reformatting the card should hopefully fix everything, here's hoping it doesn't decide to flash my hazards or trigger the wiper fluid after!
