yeh , plenty of ways to wash a car these days , everyone has their pref. TBF i rarely use citrus , if i do it's when the car is relly bad and so i'll hit it with this first to get rid of much of the stubbern dirt/salt/film as i can , and then i just continue with my usual procsss so snow foam and then contact,, etc etc. this was really just if your a beginner and just needed something to start with and its a GR86 so at least relatable somewhat.

And i dont want to start another discussion as its everywhere but a lot of YT detailer do have a video on why you dont need 2 buckets. (i still have 3 wash, rinse and wheels)

Me too, I upgraded my Martin Cox 20L white buckets and Grit Guards (from Euro Car parts) to a Fix8 Three Bucket Bundle. Bloody expensive for a set of plastic buckets, but I wouldn't go back to a standard bucket now after seeing what they can draw out of the solution..

Car was dusty and before tomorrows extreme day trip to the middle of Scotland * , though I'd better clean it up. Decided to re-visit this stuff

It was a freebie a number of years ago at JapFest (RRP £30-£45) and as long as you realise it doesn't foam up (so ideal to use on a mildly dusty car), it does add a very hydrophobic coating. It does seem to make the paint feel slick. Will see how it looks after 500 miles . . .

*Killin Highland Games - daughter (current European champion) will be taking part and hopefully taking home some silverware - don't forget to wave if you see me!

I have used that stuff on our family car. It last pretty well.

Good luck to your daughter.
