After 3 years I think I fancy a change of wheels. Has anyone any nice ideas for 17s on stock suspension? I think that size looks very cool and I’m sure the ol’ middle-aged back wouldn’t complain about a wee bit of extra sidewall??
Seen a few on various forums over the years but didn’t save my favs though I did see a set of OZ Alleggerita on a BRZ stateside and it looked ace.
Would 8” wide with 40-45 offset be about right for a sensible look?

Awesome - cheers! That looks great✌️
7.5 / et48 looks totally fine - this is stock suspension and no spacers, right?
I’d seen a set of 7.5 / et40 wheels - wonder if the 8mm extra poke out would look wrong? You wouldn’t have a more rear or front angled shot of yours?

Thanks!
Yes, unmodified apart from the wheels.
I don't seem to have many angled shots but they're not proud at all, so I think an extra 8mm would be fine.
I'll try and take a couple of shots over the next day or two (any excuse!) but I think you can get an idea of the rears at least:

I've got some Enkei TS-Vs, 17x8 in Storm Grey. Also got mine to improve comfort and "can go on any road" ability, but don't get your hopes up, it really doesn't make a huge difference.

EvoCorse SanremoCorse 17x8 et42.

Definitely felt like the right decision to me, car feels more nimble and the ride a little more settled, not earth shattering but noticeable.
