I posted the pics in the motorsport section too :D From the videos it sounds like its running the Rally2 3cylinder engine.

Interesting, I wondered if this might have been the new Celica, which is rumoured to have the new four-cylinder engine

Great spot! I think it will be a Celica - I posted this a while back after Jari-Matti Latvala, GR rally team boss said this in one of his interviews at the Goodwood Festival of Speed...

"...the Celica won the championship in 92, 93 & 94, so we want to keep the story of Celica alive because the heritage and thinking about the future, is something that we want to bring, maybe (corrects himself with a cheeky grin!), back in the game in the future."

The next question will be is it mid-engined like the new Celica is rumoured to be or will it stick to a front engine like the WRC spaceframe - not sure if the new WRC rules will allow it to be mid engined though? Although could explain why Toyota created that mid-engined GR Yaris recently....

I’d say the mid engine GRY is the test bed for the MR2

If I had to guess I would say that the Corolla chassis will probably form the basis of the Celica

I understand the cost aspect of things but...
it's a bit of shame if all these models are just aesthetically modified corollas and such - not a bespoke platforms, with sportier suspension geometries/travels, better weight distribution, sportier/higher-end bodywork profiles, fr-longitidinal (or mid-ship) engine placements for truly RWD biased architectures.
Historically, this was (IMO) what killed the first of batch of Celica's evolution - people started realizing these as not true sports cars but ordinary dailies with the addition of some aesthetics flares and reduced usability
