Will have a think about this as could stop over at friends in Morecambe and call at more friends in Yorkshire on way back down to south coast.
Are you sure about sunset times?
That far north and in June it will likely still be light past 10:30pm
The GRMN doesn't get mentioned very often as it's not very common.
I am a GR Yaris owner but thinks it's older brother deserves it place for just being very different and a lot more capable than people think (just tell them it has a Lotus engine!)
Nearly all cars have lower tyres pressures on the rear due to less weight on them (weighg of engine at front).
Four wheel drive car tend to have pressure of rear tyres either closer or the same as the fronts bit I find it makes the rear jumpy on both the GR Yaris and Suzuki Vitara I have (also...
You can remove the pins easily without hitting them if the spring clip is removed first. It is the pressure of the clip that makes them hard to remove but they are a loose fit throigh the holes on the caliper.
I got one of the Hotwheels GR Yaris models at Smyths (Farlington near Portsmouth).
They had quite a few in stock (about 8-10).
I guess most Smyths Toys will have them in by now.
I saw a post somewhere that a guy got a red one in France so other colours may be in the way.
Here's mine which has wheels that are a bronze/smoke gold colour (either Lambourghini or Porsche colour I think...not sure as they were done when I got the car).
Wheels show colour a bit more has mine isn't a track pack car, so more wheel spokes.
Brake judder can sometimes be caused by variation in friction levels around the disc. This can happen even when the disc is perfectly flat and has no runout at all.
I had this happen afyer 6 months with a Fabia VRS after I fitted new discs.
Used to het judder undr hard braking or just when...
I used to put winter tyres on steel wheels on a Fabia VRS I had.
Directline just needed a heads up that the wheels/tyres were on but didn't charge for the change.
Seems fair given less likely to have an accident when using winter tyres in snow and cold conditions.
