Thanks so much for the detailed reply - that reassures me quite a bit. We are going on the Euro Tour in June so will need both seats lowered. I think l might just ask the garage to fit them for me, perhaps buy from Tegiwa and see if they will fit them as well, given Matt's comprehensive video...

    GR Yaris SW Motorsports

I am a little reluctant to purchase an SW bracket due to the teething problems with fitting on the original 'prototype'. Has anyone received and fitted one of the latest versions with slider capability? I don't have access to a garage and tools, so anything l get must fit perfectly, with the...

GR Yaris What did you do to your GR Yaris today?

Did you find the ECoTY 2023 roads? If so, perhaps you could share the details. I think there is a thread for good driving roads. if not there should be. Thanks.

Love the steering wheel. Where did you get it done and how much? Was thinking of perforated leather rather than alcantara if l got mine done - is it sticky enough? I find the OEM wheel a little slippery. Thanks.

I went to see them this afternoon and met with David. A very reassuring chat and he clearly 'gets' that the GR is not your average Toyota. I have booked mine in for a full oil change early in the New Year

Thanks for the update. I would love to know how you find them (and any fitting issues) when they do eventually arrive.

Have the Recaros arrived yet? I was looking at seat lowering kits for the passenger side and then thought why not swap both seats out for Recaro CSs? Do they give you the lowering that is needed? Where have your ordered them from please?

Thanks. I don't suppose you have a handy list of what oils you supplied and where you sourced them from? There seems to be a wealth of info on oils in the forum, but wading through all the discussion to find the optimum combination is a bit challenging.

About to head down to meet them this afternoon. Did they know what specialist oils were required for the GR and able to supply them? Only about 2k miles in but after one track day and one Drive Limits day l think l might get all the oils changed just to be on the safe side.

    GR Yaris Bronson's B-Road Blaster

Did you take the plunge with the retrimmed steering wheel? A couple of track days into ownership and l am finding the steering wheel too thin and too slippery for perfect control. I may be headed in that direction as well.

Hi, I would be interested to know how you have been getting on with your Alcantara steering wheel retrim Fascinated to hear how you are getting on with the retrimmed steering wheel? About the only thing that l don't really get on with on my GR is that the steering wheel is too shiny/slippery...

GR Yaris What did you do to your GR Yaris today?

Not quite 'Today' but over the weekend l completed 621 careful (and often frustrating) miles to run her in - just in time to attend an excellent driver training session at Drive Limits in Epping, London yesterday. There were only 3 of us taking part so we got maximum driving time and first rate...
