Can’t be anyone on the forum then 🤣 bets on a Toyota employee?
I suspect, good sir, that this might be the case.

“I’ve not owned a Toyota before but I did own a Lexus IS and I loved it, in fact, it was quite a similar colour to the GR86 now. There are some similarities in terms of build qualities and comfort and the IS was rear-wheel drive too, albeit with a hybrid powertrain. It’s surprised me at how many similarities there are between the cars, which goes to show the quality that runs through both companies in their products.”

This is the most corporate thing I've ever read.

"I always say about Lexii (plural), they're like the Japanese Mercedes."

"It’s surprised me at how many similarities there are" (between the GR86 and Lexus IS)

Human beings apparently share 99% of DNA with lettuce.

Surely someone on here with that numberplate...
I had an IS300h previously - I'd be surprised if there were many similarities other than the universal Toyota cruise control stalk

EDIT (Just seen vinny85's post - good sleuthing).

3 posts and a zoo plate that’s commitment!

Loves it so much, it's now for sale
House move and renovation 'forces' sale - Yeah, cos' they don't get planned well in advance do they? Basically he's just a flipper that thought he could make a few quid on a car (that's now done well in excess of average mileage btw). As with all flippers (Rolex ones especially are on my hate list), I hope his next shit is a Hedgehog. Apologies to any Hedgehogs out there for this burden.

As an aside (albeit a related one), I've always been amused and intrigued by the phrase "genuine reason for sale".

I mean, discovering the car is a cut'n'shut that's pathologically dangerous to drive and would cost a monumental amount to put right seems like a pretty "genuine" reason to want to sell, to me...

[Rant on] As does being a double-thumbs-up, limelight craving, mouth-breathing, car flipping Bellend apparently [Rant Off]...

"Right, that's enough internet for you today Biscuitt, put your mittens back on and take a nap" 😴
