GR86 GR86 Delivery Tracking and Collection thread

Ordered mine on 12th June, call from online team on 13th to say expected delivery September.
App status changed from 'in build‘ to ‘left the factory’ 23rd June so I guess it’s now somewhere between Japan and UK.

Think I’ll call online team tomorrow and see if they can tell me the name of vessel it’s on as have a car to sell and was banking on September delivery!

Not excepting the rubbish PX valuation for my current car, so at least for a while will have both.:)

Yes still have the MR2 had it about 12yrs costs a few pennies to keep 100% but worth it.

Picking mine up on Monday - Red Manual #181 for the list. Just having its ceramic coating done today and PPF to the front bumper. Ducktail fitted and mudguards to go on when back from the detailers.
Long long long and frustrating journey but finally allowing myself to get excited now.
Just the small matter of selling the GR Yaris now - with a tear in my eye!

Thank you. It's a UK car Rev3 (with Rev 4 alloys) just 1 previous owner. Looking forward to having a GR for a friend :D
 
Ordered on the 29th of June, still haven't received my welcome call, should I be worried? 👀 How long did it take for others to receive their welcome call?

Mine was ordered on 13th June, call was following day - sorry, that's not helpful - give them a call, although everything says that email is the fastest way of contacting them, it must be a new meaning of 'fastest'

I think they're a little busy...

Guess I ought to stop lurking

Ordered on 25th, but completed the ID & reg plate stuff at the weekend and not yet had the call - so I wouldn’t get too worried.
 
Sounds like its not unusual for it to take a little longer to receive the welcome call - thanks for the replies everyone 😁 puts my mind at ease a little.

I've emailed Toyota Online, jsut waiting for a response....
 
I called Toyota OL and was pleasantly surprised, the message says something like they are very busy and you may need to wait on the line, but they answered within a minute or so. So if you need to contact them a call maybe quickest.
 
I’ve just called on line team and they answered straight away.

Update on my car is it was loaded on a vessel called ‘Goodwood’ on 27th June.

Goodwood is currently off the coast of Malaysia estimated to be Suez Canal July 11th, doesn’t give an estimate arrival in UK but guess it will be late July early August, so hopefully at dealership early September 😁

Brilliant, thanks very much.

Mines going to Leicester so it’ll be interesting to see which gets to the dealership first.

Im hoping for September to get the 73 plate, dealer has said if it’s late August they will delay until September but think I’ve read somewhere that plates get issued on arrival at Derby, not sure if that’s correct?

You can ask the OL team to delay registration - mine's in the country now, but slated for a September delivery on a 73...
