I will drop them a mail to see if they can tell me which one mine is on! I got the left factory notification on 15th May, so there is a chance we could be boat buddies...

I think so, yes. They’re pretty subtle and any extra protection from flinging debris has to be a bonus! I can’t compare to life without them as mine were fitted from the go. For what they cost they’re a sensible addition that’ll make a practical difference.

Agreed, had mine fitted a couple of weeks after I got the car. Won’t stop everything from flinging up at the car, but better than nothing, and I like the way they look.

Mine also left the factory on the 15th May... the info from Toyota is lagging behind a bit!
I would say that your car is definitely on that boat as well .... 👍
It's been at sea now for 10 days.... won't take long 😀

Give Toyota Online a call they'll give you the name of the boat.... I was also given the VIN number

I got the MyT notification on 19th May that it’s left the factory, do you think the system is lagging and could be on the same ship?
How regular/frequent are these ships?

I hope so.... the Morning Conductor sailed on the 12th.... depends how much the system is lagging when you received your notification on the 19th...
We can only guess.
Give Toyota Online a call and have your ORCA number ready...they'll be able to tell you if your car is on the boat or another?? 🤞

We are indeed on the same boat! Just had it confirmed by Toyota Online.
 
Took a "brave pill" and paid for my car, GULP!!

And the dealer has emailed to say it has arrived with them today!!

Just my luck to be out of the country on holiday next week. Otherwise I would be asking for collection on my birthday (middle of next week) which I think one or two others have managed to arrange. :):)

Just emailed Toyota online and they confirmed my ship is Georgia Highway.
Anyone know when that actually sailed and is it many days behind morning conductor ship?

So, TUK have now confirmed the car is a at the dealers offsite compound and should be onsite at the dealers by the end of the week. With the lack of communication issues I'm concerned that the requests to remove the protective stickers but not hand wash it (jet wash is fine, advice from detailer) and not to screw the plates on is going to be missed. Hopefully not and all will go smoothly from here on in 🤔

The next hurdles are the free insurance set up oh and shelling out the £30k to pay for it! It's been an unusual car buying process from the start and had plenty highs and lows along the way but looking forward to finally getting my hands on it and driving it. Fingers crossed it works for us and it puts a big grin on my face!! 😁
 
As a few of us can attest to, it is worth it! Perfect time of year to be getting it too.

Just google ship tracking - there's several free sites where you can search by ship name to see last known position etc...

Speak to the dealership/sales exec would be my suggestion. Thankfully the chap I dealt with at Listers was the polar opposite of TUK with respect to responding to me and keeping me informed of progress.

Hopefully your nominated dealership and sales exec will be similarly helpful. 👍🏻
