It maybe useful to start a list of car friendly places to meet up, or where you just enjoy the drive out and the food when you get there.

Here are a few to get the thread started.

NY 500 - Between Malton & Pickering , North Yorkshire , car themed cafe and events

The Motorist - Sherburn in Elmet , West Yorkshire , events, showroom, workshop

The Lion Inn , North Yorkshire Moors , great food , fantastic roads to get there , watch out for the sheep!

The Old Tile Works , Barton upon Humber, just south of the Humber Bridge , lovely cafe and a large car park

Yummy Yorkshire, High Flatts, Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, great place for a breakfast and some great driving roads in the area. Plenty of parking but gets very busy when there are events on

The Oil Can Cafe , Holmfirth, West Yorkshire. Great driving roads in the area.

Good idea for a thread. (y)

Someone told me about this place a few months ago, but haven't visited it yet.

Ponderose Cafe, Horseshowe Pass, Llangollen, LL20 8DR

Nice one 🙂. A friend who’s into motorbikes goes there a lot 👍

Can confirm is good, watch out pulling into car park as one section can mean scrapping the bumper.

I only know some motorcycle places in the Shropshire / Mid Wales area.

Dinky Diner
The Food Stop Cafe
Raven Cafe

Would love to find more. If anyone knows any.

I’m from Yorkshire originally so I only really know Squires, The motorist, Willoby wood etc

Mavericks Wales Tuesday evenings is classic and sports cars night.
Cafine and machine of North Wales.
All though predominantly a classic motorcycle venue they love and cater for all.
Some great nights last year in the first year of opening with big plans to make it better this year.

Season opener Tuesday night 29th March.

Any good places in Berkshire?

Seems we'll have a good gang down here.

Well, prompted by a somewhat off-topic exchange of posts on another thread and a subsequent exchange of messages with @AndyRC, we both thought that the best place to post a link to the Petrolheads Welcome website was here.

Hopefully, Petrolheads Welcome will prove to be a useful resource for any GR-Zoo.com members wishing to arrange either formal events or informal meets in the future.

Correct 👍 25 years ago I used to live less than a mile away , I’d forgotten just how tight and steep the roads are around there 😳 Nice place to visit if you’re out that way and some great roads if you know the area 😎

Would love to go, will keep it in mind if I'm ever around that area!
