Event GO JAPAN!, Brands Hatch - Monday 31 August

And with that we've passed the deadline and entries are now officially closed.
I have managed to register 2 last minute entries today, @CB2007 in a GR Yaris and @EffBee in a GR Supra! (hurrah, we got one there in the end!)

A total of 17 cars, with a decent spread which I think it a great showing!
8x GR86
7x GR Yaris
1x GR Supra
1x 86 TRD 14R

I spoke to the event organiser today (to organise the addition of the 2 entries that missed the deadline) and they said they'll be doing the club layout tomorrow so entries cannot be accepted after today, so any further information should be forthcoming after that.

Fantastic thank you so much, really excited now. Going to book a drift session, sadly the eating competition was sold out, although possibly a good thing thinking about it LOL

Opening time is 9am, although more details will be added as and when we receive them,

Unfortunately the entries are now locked down because the organisers have to organise and allocate parking space inside the circuit / event for the numerous different car clubs well in advance.
You're more than welcome to come hang out on the day tho'!
 
Hi all, I just picked up my GR86 yesterday and would love to join the club stand if it's not too late? I read somewhere that the deadline for entering your car with the club was the 17th, and was wondering if it was still possible to join :)

Good Morning All!

Here is all the general information about what to do on the day;

Signed up members who are attending need to download and print out a "Red Zone Pass" and put their mobile number on it in advance (I'm assuming this is for easy contact if you've gone wandering during the day as we no doubt all will at some point);

The route into Brands Hatch for signed up club members is NOT THE MAIN ENTRANCE, see this map for details;

Our club entry is open at 7am (gulp!), and we're in "Zone 50" which is right at the far side of Brands Hatch basically down the bottom of Paddock Hill by the Obsession Car Show, Drift Taxi Arena, Drift Pro and Racing Honda paddock, which is a great lively spot!;

General Admission (for anyone not signed up) is at 9am, if you couldn't make the signup in time, nothing to stop you coming and hanging out anyway! :)

It should go without saying but there's a big warning on the site, be very cautious both arriving, inside and leaving the venue, there's CCTV on site and at the exit and any cars "driving recklessly" will receive a lifetime ban from MSV circuits (so most UK circuits) which will also likely extend to the entire club, and reported to the police.

Just a quick question as couldn't see anything regarding this. Do we need to wait until the public have left to leave or can we leave a bit earlier if needed?
 
There is nothing to indicate you have to stay all day. I was there at Festival Italia, a few weekends back, you will find some people will slope off as early as lunchtime. They can't really force you to stay :LOL:

EDIT: We also have a couple of club banners to put up assuming there is some fencing near our stand (y)
 
Anyone had anything on the stand details? I only have my 2 tickets, no info on stand location or a pass for the car etc.

Edit: Ignore me, catching up on the details, cached page so didn't see the newer instructions.

The area we are in is all tarmac no grass nearby. There is a fence by Hailwoods restaurant which is next to us. Whether MSV let you attach a banner though is another question. They are very protective about their paddock areas!
