Following on from our recent summer solstice overnight run, we'll be doing it again, in reverse, for the winter solstice.
In brief, starting from the beach at Whitby, where we'll hopefully have clear weather and see the sunrise, we'll then follow a set route to get us to Silecroft beach in time to (again, hopefully) see the sunset.
Date: Saturday 19th December
Sunrise time: 8:20
Sunset time for Silecroft: 3:54
That gives us 7.5 hours to make the journey, so plenty of time for photo...
I have bought (£5) a ticket to attend in my GRY on Sunday 12th July.
The venue is in a nice spot and offers coffee and food, tickets usually sell out ahead of meet day, There's a couple of other GRY Zoo members @AK10TOY @KevinA planning on attending.
I'll be there for opening at 09.00.
Hopefully see a few other Zoo members there, obviously all comers and all cars very welcome 😃
