GR Yaris What did you do to your GR Yaris today?

No, UK law states that any VAT registered garage using the correct parts can service your car and not impact warranty. As my car has a 3 year warranty I can get 6 services in before going to Toyota to extend the warranty and then every other one can be with Toyota as they extend it a year per service.
aww that's good! (y) :giggle:

I sold it. A great car, but I'm so fed up with the EU, and especially with Germany, that I'm currently selling everything and emigrating as soon as possible. I wish you all the best; we've had a really nice few years here, and there's a great community.

👋🏻👍🏻👍🏻.
Best of luck in your future endeavors, if you don't mind me asking, where you moving to ?

👏

Sounds like what I did with the US - packed up and moved to Thailand.

• Strict immigration policies. No endless stream of asylum seekers milking the system.
• None of the woke pronoun crap or forced political correctness.
• Amazing food, low cost of living, and year-round warm weather.
• And best of all - no ridiculous emissions laws. You can drive whatever the hell you want, mod it however you like, and no one bats an eye.

No mass homelessness taking over cities. No $100 parking tickets or getting fined for nonsense. No culture of entitlement or cancel mobs breathing down your neck.

Honestly, it feels like actual freedom - something the West pretends to value but lost a long time ago.

Just one rule here: don’t badmouth the monarchy 😆

Cleaned it yesterday, bird shat all over the windscreen today. So another wash today :poop:
1 hour later update: massive rainstorm arrived, even though it was supposed to be completely sunny day... getting pretty schizophrenic.

Got to agree,

As you say great forum and community, the hole of Europe is in the same boat it seems, UK is currently a joke we are being taxed to death.

It shows how bad things get when you have to do this, hope things work out, hope you stay on or connected the forum 👍

Regards Russ....🙏

You’ve kept it from her all this time?!

Or she wasn’t really interested?
she has not been that interested, and have shared GR test rides usually only those who are passionate for driving.
Just realized how niche stuff my own car preference is compared to common market - No wonder there is less and less performance cars available.

Very, very true about me too, as I sometimes get reminded.

Also, engaging in forums like this feeds our niche tendencies, taking us more and more into our own little bubble and away from anything "common".

Both good & bad, but requires awareness & management.

Changed a faulty coil at around 50,600 km 🫤

Got a cyl 1 misfire the other day and immediately suspected it. Changed this morning and all good. Suspect it has been on the way out for a while.

Seems to be a common issue as I had it with mine and seen many say the same. I wonder if they’ve changed the coil packs in the gen2.
