Ordered a setrab series 6 25 row oil cooler, to have something to fiddle in garage during winter.
It doubles the oil cooling capacity from series1. Fun to see if it fits. .

I was not prepared for the Toyota Albion's, Catholic nun's toosh torque settings
Oil and filter change. 15min Quick and easy, 1hr later....
Tried yanking it off, by hand. Hmm... Did not work
That's okay, I got a tool for this. Snapped the rubber belt in half...
Okay that is rather tight
Pierced the screw driver. Snapped the screw driver
Much larger screw driver through both ends with extension finally did it
The oil plug was so tight I had to use a chisel to get the old gasket off
Behold:

not as bad... but I wonder if Machimoto factory employs sumo-fighters to tighten oil filters by hand
Got told off today for always referring to the central locking button in the tailgate as the clitoris lock.
And the missus pointed out that at least I'd taken the time to learn how to reliably lock the car.

Did 500km in about 6 hours. Three range roads, several km of gravel. Was nice.
Started building a form for a new frontsplitter.

Changed the air filter. I don't think this was too bad to be honest, but if I remember it's only going to be changed every four years with the service and I'm not sure I'm leaving it that long.

Spruce up before some hibernation time.
Drove it properly in bad weather for the first time, not really been used in the rain before.....

Put in an order at Tegiwa for the TRD front splitter and side skirts
