Complete novice.
I have seen on the market RaceChrono, RaceBox, AiM among many others.

I want a setup that:
A- does not damage/requires fixing to the dash or body
B- can be removed quickly
C- can show lap time, best time, best theoretical time
D- can show oil pressure, oil temp
E- the data can be post analyzer to check driver inputs across the lap as well as oil pressure

What do people use/recommend?

Go for the Garmin Catalyst and buy a Canchecked Data Display for Oil Pressure and Temp. etc.

Most track day operators if not all will not allow timing, most probably run Harry’s LapTimer in the background on their phone or use a GoPro for post event data but if you have something like the garmin catalyst or AIM be prepared to be challenged.

I'm using Racebox and quite happy with that. No it doesn't sync vehicle data but for that I have other system.
At least good for showing predictative lap times and quite ok cloud based platform to analyse / share your lap data.

Garmin catalyst is then maybe one step better with video but costs 3x more.

I've been using RaceChrono with a Racebox Mini, a DIY CAN Bus reader, and a synced GoPro on my Suzuki Swift Sport.
It's not a pro-level data logging setup, but for the price, it's great. Now, I'm trying to replicate it for my GR Yaris.
