Hi guys,

Haven't got the minimum order quantity for either design so this isn't going ahead now. May revisit in the future but for now I won't be ordering.

Just as an add on Chris style 2 are what I have on my Work wheels and get a full 9 turns then a bit on standard studs.
6.5 turns required for a m12x1.5 nut to be properly attached and I believe msa standard is 10 turns for motorsport.

So basically if any one swaying and can’t fit the extended nuts if they try a normal 60deg nut they may be pleasantly surprised to find extended studs aren’t required.

Can I also ask are the nuts open ended or closed sorry if I missed it, looks open ended from the diagram

I was under the impression you needed 8 turns to give proper thread engagement of 12mm.

That’s good though, but that’s to be assessed on an individual basis, I can’t account for anyone else’s mounting face thickness. Clearly your Weds have quite thin mounting faces as my Enkeis only gave me about 6 turns.

Nut designs are open ended as it stands

I maybe have the 6.5 turns wrong can’t find where I read up on it before now. Did find one saying 7-8 turns.
Yea I was surprised the work emotions got over 9turns must be the way the holes are drilled

Will either of these work with JR SL01 wheels? (I'm hoping to get some Advan RZF2s at some point so I hope they'd use the same also?)

I don't have experience with the SL01 but JR wheels i've had in the past have usually needed the slimmer wheel nuts. The second design would definitely work. i'd presume the first would not.

Interest hasn't been high enough for either design unfortunately so I can't order at the minute. Might revisit this in the future but at the minute it's on hold
