With the inevitable passing of time, some former owners have moved on to other marques, and as a result our annual Europen Road Trip has a limited number of free spaces for this year.

The basic outline: 1st night will be in or around Baden-Baden, on the edge of the Black Forest - Thursday 11 September

Last night, Nurburgring - Friday 19 September

All hotels and routes TBC, but most likely to involve a few nights in the same hotel somewhere in the Dolomites

Price TBC, as the hotels have yet to be confirmed, but reckon around £1500 per person and you'll not be far off (This does NOT include any crossings is coming from the UK)

We are looking to get the total number of cars (not people!) up to 10, and as we have 8 already we have 2 free spots

Initially looking for expressions of interest, and as we progress with details and planning I will go through respondants in the order of replying to this thread. Please pop your name and number of people going below if you'd like to be considered.

I know this sounds a little vague, but trust me on one thing, an AMAZING time is guaranteed.

You'll also get first refusal on any future trips :)

As an attendee of the previous two, and with my name down again this year, I can fully attest to it being a fantastic experience.

It's enabled me to see some amazing scenery and experience some epic driving roads (some well known, others less so), all shared with a great bunch of people.

Thanks again @Sticky for organising it!

Damn, I wish I could but with a young family it will too selfish. Maybe next year I can put my name down

If you’re umm-ing and ahh-ing over maybe going on this, don’t. Just get your name down.

It will be just as EPIC as previous years - no pressure Mr @Sticky!

I did this in my Yaris in 2023. It was epic. This year I’m back in my GR86. I’ve just had the Brembo upgrade done. I’m ready. 🙂

Would be cool to have more GR86’s in the mix. 👍

Is it possible to join you for a stage or join in for a coffee? It seems your tour goes past were I live. This year i've already a big vacation planned and second vacation is to much.

Sure, we've had a few people meet us at a notable col or rest stop and tag along for a few hours in previous years.

The precise route and agenda won't be known until closer to the trip though.

WARNING: You might have to put up with Dmitri's jokes and Sticky's choice of attire though :D

I'd be interested sounds awesome.
Come! Especially so I'm not the only GR86. ;)

I did the inaugral trip back in 2023 when I had my Yaris. It was epic fun. Whilst I've toured the Alps twice previously prior to that, it was great to do it as part of a group and I must say that Sticky really turned up some epic passes that many wouldn't know about. Have just put the Brembos on my car in preparation. :)

Just been chatting to Lauren, I’m interested and happy to be added to the list of possibles.

Likely just me but possibly a passenger.

To the organizers:

Just a heads-up: be flexible with your routes - last mid-September we had this: winter tyres (or chains) mandatory on Timmelsjoch due to an overnight surprise:

Same situation on the relatively low Karer Pass:

Nothing that can’t be managed, but worth considering with a bunch of Hotel bookings for a larger group pre-planned…

I'm hoping @Sticky has started planning the route by now :D
