Forum Event Sunday 24 September 2023 - Daikoku Weekend @ Caffeine & Machine

Following the very pleasant gathering at Caffeine & Machine in August for 86 Day , a few of us have discussed popping over for the Daikoku Weekend which is on Sat 23 and Sun 24 September.

Following brief discussion in the previous thread , we have quite rightly been asked to start a new thread for the September event, which is what this is!

I and my Warwickshire brother @Nick have booked tickets for the 11am to 2pm slot on Sunday 24 September. Details of how C&M works are available in the 86 Day thread and on their website, but to summarise it costs £10 per car, which then allows you £5 credit for food and drink on-site. This is for a three-hour slot, but if it's not horrendously busy you can stay pretty much as long as you like.

Returning to Cornwall from York on the 10th August I dropped into Caffeine and Machine for a coffee and a 'sticker'. Beautiful weather and a piccy made it worthwhile The car performed superbly on its road trip an absolute joy to drive

Interesting how we will hopefully have THREE Sapphire GR86s coming - given the rarity of this colour choice!

Can someone with a grey GR86 come along? It's the only colour I've not seen yet!

Ambitiously booked for the 11:00-14:00 slot also, bringing the White 86 and the wifey straight from a wedding at a brewery the night before.

I'm sure sore heads will be medicated with an hour or so on the m40...
