The May event is well supported (1000+ cars) and has a better chance of good weather, just ensure you arrive early to avoid the traffic jams.

Remember to select GR Zoo when you buy your ticket so you can park up with other GR owners.

Staying at the Black-a-Moor Inn on the Saturday, which is only 3.5 miles from Newby Hall (so Google says) - Convenient but I’ve just read that it doesn’t include breakfast. FML. Best take my own Weetabix then…

I highly recommend this place for breakfast if you’re not in the mood for Weetabix. If you like cooked breakfast, get a ‘Plantsman’; possibly the best in Yorkshire!

Thanks for the recommend, but unfortunately the 'Olive Tree' doesn't open until 0930 on a Sunday, which will be far too late for exhibitors at the show given the usual early arrival requirement at these venues. Not to worry, I've survived on worse things than Weetabix and tepid UHT milk to start a day; Warm Camel's milk and Brik anybody?

“Groups smaller than ten will be parked in the mixed area.”
Have we got enough to take it over the Ten and avoid being chucked in with the rabble? C’mon folks put it in your Diary and save the Zoo from relegation …

Select Events > Spring > Club Stands (tab) and you'll see we have 6 so far, which is a good start.

Good meet up last year, although the queues were terrible, they hopefully have sorted for this year but would recommend getting there early.
I'll see if can get the time, if weather was as good as last year, should be a good trip out.
