Got mine in early August and so far covered 380miles. It's a weekend car for me, so getting the miles on it to run in will take time!

Done a few mods on it so far, front lip, rear duck tail, 20mm spacers (the 2 full car pics are before spacers and Brembo), Brembos at Front, Carbon Exhaust trims, JDM front numberplate plinth, light window tint with sun strip. Got a set of Tein Coilovers to go on to but will wait till after winter before I install them. I also have Beatrush Rear strut brace and Cusco Front brace to install when my wife brings them over from Tokyo for me

Looking for some trackday wheels too in 17" and the OZ look amzing value for under £1k for a setCan't wait for Spring 2024 when I can go and exploit it on trackdays!

Brembos are such a great looking upgrade. Is it not possible to upgrade the back?

Those OZ wheels also look great, wouldn’t mind a set to put some winters on. Where from and what size would be required in 17’s?

Brembo or any BBK do look cool but for me its the extra braking available to me for track days. I won't be doing the rears as it is for brake balance only. I will just be changing the rear pads to a fast road pad. 80% of actual braking comes from the front. I will get the stock calipers painted though to match in black.

You can purchase the wheels directly from OZ.

Just look for the rim in the list, its on offer at £223.20each. The offer is for the 8x17.. For winter wheels this maybe a bit extreme. 7.5x17 sould suffice for winter tyres. Maybe see if you can get any used GT86 rims.

according to calculations posted by more intellectual owners than me, its increases the front bias by 5% which in my opinion on a road car is neither here nor there.

Thought its about time I added some more pics and updated this thread!

Tein RX1 Coilvers- Car was dropped down from fitting, still not settled and need aligment done. Front pinch weld height around 135mm, rear around 5mm higher.

Cusco Front Strut bar- Managed to round off the thread on the factory brace location, so cut off that mounting from the cusco bar. Seems it's a common issue with the brace, rounding off those threads! :cautious:

after nearly 3months, AME wheels clearing customs! I was a cheapskate and sent them by surface post from Tokyo. Did save £400 on shipping compared to air freight! Can't wait to get the Bridgestone Race tyres on them and bolt them up!

Will be a busy week this week, Whiteline rear lower arms to sort out the un-even camber, Maxton Side skirts and if have a break in the weather, some front bumper PPF ready for track day.

I got a friend in Tokyo to sort it out for me.
Sounds like a good friend. Found some for sale in the UK. All the wheels I've been looking at are really expensive - which is fine, because I want solid lightweight wheels and i know they dont come cheap - but if I can find some that fit the bill for a better price I'd rather save a few quid.

They seemed to fit the bill. Five spoke, great quality, available in the right sizes offset etc.

yeah, Torque GT are charging crazy money for them in the UK. I wouldn't be paying their prices. If I didn't go for the AME, I would have bought the JR SL01. A little heavier but also semi-forged around £1k is a great price. I know there is a guy with them on the forum with them on his GR86. They look real good.

Yeah, it's S18RSG. They are nice, and kind of 5 spoke. They're an option for me if I can't find some with a solid 5 spoke design for my budget.
