Needs a gel coat to get it like glass, I did try re-wrapping gloss black but showed up too many imperfections and the forged carbon looks fire and if it is good enough for Lambo’s…

So, just got the car back from String Theory (£544) , no issues used all Genuine Toyota parts and followed the Toyota check sheet :-

• Toyota LT 75w85 Transfer case oil
• Toyota LV 75w90 Transmission oil

• Cabin Filter T87139-YZZ33

What is the mileage on your car ?, obviously a main service. Did you get your service book stamped or are you not worried about the Toyota warranty.

12,000, all Toyota parts, the service book is stamped so the Toyota warranty will still be good - personally not that bothered and not planning to sell the car so not a big deal.

Quick update as I can no longer edit the the story so far it's repeated here, but hot off the press was a re-map by String Theory, so far so good, more power everywhere, more responsive, less laggy all good. Real world it's about half a second on the Dragy 50-130kph runs. I did have to swap back to the stock dump valve as the Turbosmart Kompact Blow Off Valve was causing issues with the map (apparently) although this could have also been due to a half tank of standard unleaded so might swap back as I miss the flutter, pop's and bangs. So will look to do the HJS downpipe next, then maybe oil cooler, intercooler...
