GR86 Orange GR86 in the UK

Hi Everyone,

Finally got around to posting my GR86 (10th Anniversary Edition) .

I picked it up from Torque GT in mid-February and drove her all the way back to the North East.

Loving it so far! Plus, it’s a bit of an upgrade from my previous car…

Cheers guys. I imported this one with Torque GT… I did see that one on PH and Autotrader. Two Orange ones in the UK, I know of.

Definitely going to be a rare sight on our shores in that colour. Also interesting to know what relative spec differences there are depending on what market version you have. And if you have an alarm

It’s from Japan… Being a JDM car it’s got a couple of “interesting” quirks. When the car is in reverse you get the same chime as when don’t have your seatbelt on.

Plus, the Japanese aftermarket head unit is fairly useless here in the UK.

Nothing a standard UK Toyota head unit and some simple coding can’t sort.

I was toying with the idea of getting an import initially...but I’m not patient enough Would love to hear more about the overall import experience you had - if you can find any time between driving it!

I purchased it the end of September and I took delivery mid-February. Here is a picture of it in Japan.
