Have a misfire in my early 70 plate car. Spark plugs and coils in progress, and gone through the other likely issues. On injectors, I've only seen mention here and old forum about people had them done under warranty, not an option for me. Does anyone know if it has to be the correct year or if there's benefit of going for a later mark number?

I would go for the correct year of manufacture. You may find the part # updates anyway.

Trouble is they're all 2020-2024 (just chopped off on the snip to the right). Fensport have been the only people useful, 4 dealers near me all quoted the port injector part number, RRG were somewhat useful in confirming the 9 but no more than that.
At £789.60 each I've gone with some used ones from fensport for the time being, see what numbers are on the ones that come out and take it from there down the line. Fensport reckon they'll be able to get new ones from Japan less the GB dealers.

Here's the 3 used ones from fensport, no mention of mk1-9 on them that I can see, unless the 04 and 05 line below 3270 or the large 5. They have different additional numbers after the part number. See what comes out of mine

To round this off, spark plugs, coils, and the 3 used injectors all fitted. Fairly sure it was just injector 1, so kept the first set of 2 and 3 for down the line.

No issues as of yet in regards to the mark numbers 1-9, garage when they did the coding said didn't appear to make any difference.

How much did you say these (direct) Injectors were?
