Bought new in 2022 and now selling it on due to the incoming GR86. It's only covered 3,500 miles in my 18 months of ownership!

What do you think of the N?
It's an absolute hoot. A proper wolf in sheep's clothing. That said, I'm not exactly the typical 'hot hatch' demographic; I've used the Launch Control once on an empty stretch of road and I went all dizzy and had to pull over o_O. The red NGS button (maximises everything and gives an extra 10PS for 20s) I've used maybe 3 times just to blast away from an annoying tailgater. I put a full 3" exhaust system on it from Turbo to tips, with Sports Cat, 3" flexi, GPF Delete and full 3" Cat Back. It was so noisy and had so much drone in the cabin that I took it off after 3 months as it gave me headaches. That was £3K wasted!
Other than that, I'm an absolute maniac (in my dreams) ... :ROFLMAO:

Looks great! Need price!
Arnold Clark have offered me £29,900 which I'll likely accept once I've got the KonaN back to standard.
So far I've removed the RPM Performance 3" Cat-Back Exhaust system (which might end up as a £1K steampunk garden ornament!) and I've got garage appointments to remove the Eibach Pro Kit Lowering Springs, another at a different venue for the Ghost Immobiliser and another way over in Glasgow to uninstall the BlackVue DR900X+ 2Ch Dashcams (which will likely go in the GR86). I'll leave the SmartTrak Tracker installed for the next buyer but I'll cancel my subscription. I tell ya, It's costing me a small fortune just to put it back to standard! All this thanks to an unexpected email from Toyota!
It's a shame I can't take back the 5yr Ceramic Coating and full front quarter PPF, which cost me £2k, as well as the £800 on a full set of CrossClimate 2 A/S tyres which I put on only 2 months ago FFS!! That's life though eh - Can't take it with you .... unless you're an ancient Egyptian Pharaoh of course đŸ‘‘

Interesting looking car. I must confess I was not familiar with it (I'm well aware of the i20 and i30 Ns). I'm assuming it's a great fun drive, since Hyundai seem to be turning out some great stuff recently.

Really like the Kona N, we were seriously considering one. Will see how we get in with the 86 and what stays and what goes.đŸ˜€

I only saw one in the flesh a few weeks ago and tbf I think these look great, we're on the lookout for something a little bigger than a typical hatchback but still fun to drive so this might fit the bill, will have to look at what's for sale and book a test drive

@AK10TOY looking back at my short time of ownership, it was a bloody fantastic car. I only wish that I hadn't tinkered with the exhaust system so much because the full (Turbo to Tips) 3" unresonated pipes made it unbearable. The best combination (and where I should have stopped modding) was the 3" flexi-downpipe, stealth GPF delete and everything else as standard.
Equipment wise it wanted for nothing; heated/ventillated seats, HUD, electronically adjusted suspension, multiple driving modes, launch control, e-LSD, as well as a plethora of driver assistance systems such as; Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA), Lane Keeping Assist (LKA), Lane Following Assist (LFA), Driver Attention Warning (DAW), High Beam Assist (HBA), Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist (BCA), Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Alert (RCCA), Safe Exit Warning (SEW) and Smart Cruise Control (SCC).
Basically I pointed the car south from Scotland and it effectively drove itself down to Milton Keynes whilst I ate my packed lunch - Easiest 7 hours in a car ever ..:)
I've added some photographs that I took just prior to selling mine, which show off the interior quite well

Thanks for the photos and tip regarding the exhaust, If we end up with one don't think we'll be modifying but that's good to know just in case,

How'd you find the motorway mpg cruising in the Kona? It'll be mainly her car so she'll have the final say but something not overly to thirsty would be a plus as she commutes a fair few miles

I used to return about 32mpg. My best long journey achieved 34mpg, but a more spirited drive with use of the big red 'NGS' button could see it in the low 20s
