May I ask, for those who ordered from Billetworkz, how long did your orders take to arrive?

Mine was despatched on 10 Feb, but it seems to be stuck at Heathrow since 17 Feb according to the US postal tracking with no movement since.

I’ve had things I’ve ordered from China after the 17th already turn up so slightly worried they’ve only gone and lost my package now!
Not sure what has happened. Mine arrived USPS and didn't stay long in customs.
Below is the end of my tracking history.
Hope it arrives soon. Need some more pics in this thread!

thanks. Oh yours seemed to pass through UK customs very quickly.

Mine is above… not looking too promising.

I just read Billetworkz’s FAQ page and they claim they provide no refund if lost?!? (If you send via standard USPS service)

Surely that can’t be enforceable?!

Mine departed London (US) on the 23rd. No sign yet

Edit: actually when I go via the link and not via Shopify it says it got to Heathrow 5 days ago.

@RDMsport any updates on your gear knob? Are the company you designed it with going to start selling it?
I've provided my feedback and haven't had a response. Its a bit of one man band but I'll try and find out. Overall the heavier weighting feels really nice and makes the shifts way smoother with much less effort and lovely flick. However it is chunky and I still can't decide if the size works I haven't had a chance to really push the car to test it 100%, although I switched back to the original to compare and now that feels like changing gear with a plastic golf ball and I instantly struggled with 2nd and 3rd gear, so overall I'd say the shape needs a slight rework without loosing to much weight and it would be spot on. I love the look of it, really adds a bit of finesse to the interior, almost feels expensive!

Yeah, the weight can be a funny thing. On the one hand, extra mass can damp out a notchy gearshift, but on the other, it can sometimes make things more difficult.

I remember I bought a Flossy gear knob for the old car, made from delrin and really heavy - 437g. It really smoothed out the gearshift, but I had to get rid of it after a couple of weeks as I couldn't get used to it - I found I couldn't move it around the gate quite as quickly as accurately as the stock knob. At the time, I assumed it was because it was just bigger, but thinking about it, I think it was the extra inertia caused by nearly half a kilo sitting at the top of the lever.

That's why the one you have looks ideal - it looks to be no bigger than the stock knob, while adding just a bit of mass. Keep us updated, they'd have a potential customer in me, I think.

After some collaboration with Toxic Knobs there is now a working adaptor for the GR86

This is lighter not weighted, which I think adds more feel. I like it.
