And the body, more or less (instead of a spaceframe/silhouette as in Rally 1)This is the rally version of the current GR Yaris. Closer than the Rally1 car anyway. This Rally2 car uses the 3cyl engine.

Its rather crazy how well that car sold with no proof of its pace. Folks seem to trust Toyota. But it will surely bring more good credit for GR Yaris as a wholeI read today they aready sold 150 of them, so they will be very visible in the coming years!
Wonder if they will keep the mk1 aesthetic or switch to the 'new' 2024 "mk1.5/2" one...
Strangely, I think I know which car it is! There was a White Circuit pack German import up for sale for a while last year here with protrack wheels - I was debating buying a second hand one while waiting for mine so kept an eye out for a good one. This was sold a few months back.. I suspect this is where it has gone. Pretty cool it is actually built from a road car!! All the recce cars were from Estonia then removed from registry and moved to Finland.View attachment 23943
Friend sent me this.
In case anyone questions that rally2 is based on the actual road car
