I genuinely though that rate of supply in UK was down to manufacturers emissions rules. But that they are going to sell a model that carries the same engineering, but is more expensive, that makes more sense.

That will be the issue. The closest rival is probably FL5 Type-R which without haggling is just over £51k. Perhaps the Corolla being built here could be lower but I can't see it. They'll want to make as much as they can.

Agree with above about it being more usable than the GRY but my guess is mid 50k.
Still wouldn't trade in my GRY as there will always be one "original first edition".
It would be nice to have both though for when someone needs to be in the back along with the dog in the boot.
