Dears,
a topic that can be both for mk1 that for mk2 (and i think both JBL than normal, with obviously some differences)
thanking a lot @reyhant for his precious topic,
but also other mates that have created knowledge around GR yaris multimedia setup
i have some questions for you if you someone can help me
i have mk2 GR with JBL sound
now i want to add the classical ALPINE PWD X5 dsp-subwoofer
later on i will upgrade front and rear speakers
on this car i love the ESE sound much more than in the mk1
so, in this moment being ready to install the pwd x5, i have these questions:
A) in which way must i install the PWD X5 with JBL audio ?
B) i have a strange dream..... since the ESE (engine sound enhencement) sound of the mk2 is interesting (differently from the ESE for mk1)... i have the dream to take this ESE signal and put it in a "euqualizer with volume" and the push the modified signal into PWD X5 and then through the speakers
C) the central plug in the photo is the ANC signal. Also this can signal can be managed with a button ON-OFF in order to leave it active in the ECU and then exclude it quickly with a button ??
have you some suggestion for my garage expert to realise something that can MATCH both A and B and C ??
thx a lot to everyone

Helloes,
I recently swapped my JBL speakers and amp to aftermarket 2.1 system and I thought I'd share the info I gathered.
Sorry for advance that I'm not too techsavy and my native language isn't English so, try to bare with me.
I ended up removing all 8 JBL speakers, replacing them with woofers and tweeters in front and subwoofer at the back.
Also put a lot of noise insulation stuff to the doors, side walls and boot.
What I replaced the JBL's with:
Front speakers: JL Audio C2-650 6,5" 2-way + 40mm spacers.
Front amp: Audison AP 4.9 Bit 4-channels -> bridged to 2...
