GR86 Engine Software Upgrade

Confirmed is Japan.
US is still waiting for official Performance Package upgrade (1yr now) from dealers, so no one is expecting this to hit their country.

Looks like it makes the throttle even more aggressive/non-linear?
 
Will be interesting to hear feedback, graphs give you an idea though. It certainly looks more linear and would explain that dead feeling half way thru the travel currently.

Note the ‘The console is decorated with a special decoration’ @Sonic have you been engaged by the GR department per chance?

The graphs look less linear, not more - even more torque demand at the start of the travel and then it somehow gets less as the travel goes past about 55% - that would be horrendous so I can't believe it's in anyway accurate.

Isn't it just a hugely simplified graph showing the engine output rather than the accelerator pedal mapping? It's so dumbed down it's hard to tell but it looks like they're trying to say that the torque dip has been mitigated somewhat with a new tune.

Agree U.K. cars need a remap
Hopefully it would can fix that awful stammering kangarooing juddering experience when accelerating at times.
