I was interested in the Spec L2, have heard about booming which would annoy on longer trips. How is the AR, conversely I’m worried it sounds too quiet?

There is definately no booming with the AR but it is not much louder than stock.
) Ulter doesn't boom and it almost feels like there is a valve in there, it starts to make nice sounds as load comes in quite irrespective of rpm. But not bassy/boomy at all

Wonder if a opf/gpf delete pipe would give it a nicer louder bark? Tempted by a AR or HKS Legamax but want a few DB’s more

Thank you. Suspect my best bet is buying a few used examples and hearing them for myself.
In my case the booming was gone with fake sound systems off.
I have a HKS legamax with a sports cat & aftermarket downpipe. Not loud at all, but definitely audible and with no booming.
I think without the sports cat and downpipe, it would have been too quiet for my taste but right now, it's just right.

Anyone have this? Seems to have ECE, but is massively loud with valves open (110db, that's boeing 747 levels).
Quicksilver also has a valve-exhaust, but can't find if they have ECE.

Just a heads up, be sure the check it fits the updated GR Yaris before ordering. I’m pretty sure the space between the tips has increased with the newer model.

Yeah, there are quiet a few upgrades I'm nog sure that will fit. Eventuri intake for example ...
You can close the flaps with the button in the car. So would work actually (this is one of my concerns for all the non-valved exhausts).

Has anyone fitted or heard a Ragazzon ece exhaust? Wondering just how loud they are on cold start, don’t want to annoy my neighbours. I’m tempted by the pictured one below. The 70mm curved tips look good (not a fan of these 3 inch tips on every other aftermarket exhaust). I wish omp were still making group n exhausts!

It wont fit, none of the old exhausts will fit, i compared both myself, different part numbers, and they are visually very different, i can just show you guys. I am also personally looking only at valved exhausts. So i can leave quietly if need be, or for other reasons, like roadside check for exhaust noise.
Will be a long wait for a new design i guess. Also, was thinking mudflaps, rear underarches also have a different part code...
Top old, bottom new, new is shorter end section as well.
Although the total length could be the same really, and fitting points obviously as well, but as was mentioned it looks wider as well, we just have to wait i guess for people to get their hands on them.

I'll just add that i was rather unhappy sifting through the parts catalogue, that all the possible logos end emblems and decals are able to be ordered, except the one i wanted to order for my new car because it comes without it, the WRC homologation mid console sticker, i spend a lot of time but was not able to find it, as that was one decal i wanted to put in the car somewhere myself. Speaking about the parts catalogue for the MK1.
