I had the opportunity to view a rare Porsche 911 S/T, that was in for some PPF and coatings treatment at Zoldani in Dunfermline. What an absolutely gorgeous machine! I think prices start at around £231k, if you are lucky enough to actually get one - and that colour, wow, just wow!

This is an emotive subject......Dream cars!
In my younger days I was lucky enough to own and drive some wonderful cars. Rolls Royce's, Mustang Mach 1, Ferrari bb 512, Citroen 2CV, Panther J72, BMW M1 and the list goes on.
Picking a favourite is impossible but for reasons I can't remember I did have a soft spot for the Mercedes 560 SEC. But the only car I regret selling was my 1974 Triumph Stag, after I blew the engine up through over heating. I think because of all the fun my friends had in it with me. If I had to pick just one fantasy car now the Aston Martin Valour would be right up there.

How did I have not seen this thread yet?

Anyway if I would have unlimited money it would have to be a Lexus LFA. That V10 is a basically the opera singer of the car world.

If we are speaking more realistically though it would be something like a Lexus LC 500 or a Nissan GT-R. Not buying them anytime soon either but it would at least be a possibility if given some time and discipline.

Besides these there really isn't much else that that I would label dream cars. There are a lot of cars I find cool but even as a kid I never wanted to have something like a Lamborghini or a Ferrari or anything like that. Those kind of cars are great for what they are but I don't feel the need to ever own anything like them.

If my euro million numbers come in I have no interest in any super or hypercar. My dream car would be Rally2 GR Yaris in fridge white in tarmac spec for weekend fun to compliment my GR Yaris road car. Luckily I have RedGrey team up the road to be able to look after its servicing needs if this ever becomes a reality.

If money were no object, I would keep it rare and British - like a good steak. Gordon Murray T.33. No, not the T.50.

Also no interest in a supercar here. On my definitely possible list alongside the GRY is an Ariel Nomad (weekend adrenaline overload), Alpine 110GT or Lotus Elise S1 (dry weather blaster), VW Up GTi (cheap to run daily with fun factor). As a daily, albeit probably controversial to some, I really like the look of the recently announced all electric Renault 5.

My Dream Car would be a Alpine A110 R. Unfortunately i've never seen one in real life. But i like the look a lot.
I would like to drive one (or just the normal or S version) sometime.
I had a test drive in a rather stunning a110s yesterday. Loved it, the induction growl is just amazing it's just a pity my wife didn't fit the driving position .

I would want to try rallying.... Youngest world champ is out of reach, but maybe oldest I could at least try 😬

No not really, I'm too chicken, just 'compete' but 100% for fun. That's a luxury even the pros don't really have. Just for a season or so to start. Rally 2 GRY preferably, but very local, not a big fan of long distance travel.

Other then that not really interested in owning stuff, but would like to experience some nice drives in some interesting stuff. You know drive without fear of scratching the car or a bit worse. And let someone else take care of the boring ownership stuff.

Not dreaming of such per se, but if I have to come up with stuff....the stuff I dream of is actually a day every second week for making drives, and then maybe I could keep a halfway road/rally 2 spec GR Y. So my dream really is being able to afford a nanny and keeping my GRY with a 100k mod budget.

Honestly haven’t given this much thought but with an Euromillions win there’s a few ‘must haves’…
1. DB6 MKII Vantage, manual, Dubonnet Rosso, black interior (tan possibly). The wife has the exact specs and knows to source this immediately upon the funds landing in the bank account.
2. Willys MB - learnt to drive in one, it’s the only convertible that I would own. Nothing compares to the smell of canvas and grease or the whirring noise as it motors along.
3. Manx Norton 500 - I don’t have a bike licence but just looking at and listening to it would be enough.
4. Pagani Zonda - I remember this landing like something from another planet and it made Lambos look like a Fiesta. If I’m having a super car, it has to be this.
5-50+. Undecided what direction to go. I could easily get into collecting JDM cars (mint, unmodified versions of all sorts) but I do have a soft spot for Bristols too. And there would be a Diamond T 969 wrecker in there to go with the jeep. And an Aston V600 Le Mans just because.
