not sure if you're familiar with Black Art Graphics, they produce unique personalised 'Engineered Art' plaques which feature highly detailed technical artwork, individually customised to your car and laser etched on a heavyweight brushed aluminium plates. I bought one several years ago to commemorate purchasing my first car (a Focus ST) and was looking to continue the tradition now I have taken delivery of the GR86. They're relatively expensive but super high quality and a fantastic keepsake for your pride and joy even when you've moved on to better and faster things!
Here's how they describe them on the website:

Each design begins with a specialist photography session with a real-life example to generate the perfect reference images, before being digitally recreated by our talented in-house artists to create a uniquely styled technical illustration of unparalleled detail and proportional accuracy”.

They use the same technique for every vehicle they do so the detail, accuracy, layout etc will be exactly the same standard. I have been in touch regarding getting a design created for my GR86 as I couldn't see it in their catalogue and the owner Dan has informed me that as they are now primarily focussed on working direct with manufacturers, any private commissions that involve a new model being developed will require a group buy in order for them to allocate time to it. Dan explained the process to me and while it looks like a relatively simple thing to do there's actually a considerable amount of work that goes into creating them at the level they do, so I understand why it's not viable for only one or two orders.
Obviously, I want one… hence my post, so I’m looking to see if anyone else would be interested. They need a group buy with a total combined value of around £1200, which will cover the reference photography, artwork development, individual customisation for each piece and materials & manufacture. If we get enough interest for £1500 worth, they'll do a 10% discount.
There's four plaque sizes available, prices include the plaque, customisation, framless wall mounting kit and presentation box
A4 - £179
A3 - £249
A2 - £399
A1 - £679
Below is a list of personalisation available within the standard price:
· Owner Name
· VIN
· License plates
· Paint code
· Build Date
· Build No.
· Factory options list.
· Matching wheel design in side profile (either factory option or aftermarket)
· Modifications listed in texts specifications and standard performance figures adjusted to suit a tuned vehicle.
Additional modifications, for example inclusion of visual modifications, can be catered for but may incur cost extra. Visual mods will require precise detail photographs to be provided and will need to be quoted on an individual basis.
Shipping is all calculated at checkout when ordering on the website, generally speaking UK is around £8, Europe is around £18, US/Canada around £25 and rest of world about £35.
If/when we have enough people keen to commission one, I will speak to BAG to figure out logistics and lead-time etc. A deposit of 50% will be required, with the balance due once the artwork is completed and you've received your personalised proof copy, prior to final manufacture.
