I’ve done autosolo, lots of cones. The concept is that there has to be a direction change in so many meters. You’re also allowed a passenger for directions in case you get lost.

I have, one of his later videos I think I’m briefly in but was still getting used to the car, my later runs I was quicker than him by some margin but consistency is key.
I won the Goodwood AutoSolo in my class at the next event though.
I have done the odd one in my time, though prefer going a bit quicker. Consider the Javelin Sprint Series as we run the Toyota Sprint Series within it:
The Javelin Trackdays Sprint Series is a simple and easy to enter sprint competition series for the trackday driver....

You drive a timed lap from a standing start of a circuit. It's good fun and very competitive. Would be great to get some GR86's in it for this year. Back in the day when I had a GT86 we had the biggest class with around 12 GT86's at times.
Been looking into this a bit today, quite fancy trying it at least once in my life in my GR86 Looking at the provisional calendar for '24 the Midlands seems quite well catered for, Coventry, Donnington, Curborough, Shenington, and maybe 1 or 2 more. Doing the PH Prescott hillclimb in April but that is non competitive.
