Have done this, massive increase in performance, well worth doing :cool:

Then you put on a loudish Boost Logic titanium exhaust & you drown out the stereo :ROFLMAO:

Thanks Mark, that's a very detailed article, I imagine it's a big improvement. Most cars now a days seem to have a pretty poor OEM set up, however, maybe I haven't got the best hearing anymore, but after quite a bit of tweaking of the equaliser, turning the Surround setting off and lowering the speed volume setting down to zero, I'm pretty happy with how mine sounds now. The main thing was turning the lowest frequencies down. There's still plenty of bass coming through, but it's stopped the horrible sounding vibrations that were overpowering everything.

You should seriously consider doing this modification it makes quite a transformation to the stereo performance
