Just as I have the money ready for that mod Recaro goes bankrupt and halts production. I really hope they get some fresh money and continue production next year.
Where you able to fix the issue by replacing the bearings? Mine is doing the same since some time. Didn't thought this to be an issue but it seems with time it is getting more pronounced.
Are you already using the new "MyToyota" app? MyT has been discontinued by Toyota. Not saying that this one will work any better for your order. Mine is still telling me that my service is 2 years overdue.
Pretty sure this will work directly trough the DCM module built into the car. The MK1 already has this module for the e-call functionality and Toyota had to do a recall once because the over-the-air update of the module failed.
Does the speed sign recognition work better in the new Corolla? In the GRY its wrong many times and it does not even know stuff like the "Ortsausgangsschild". Combined with the ISA stuff this would be a double nightmare.
Are you sure about that? I did some research and could not find anything in the StVZO that said you really need a rear view mirror when you have two side mirrors. There are also delivery vans with no windows in the back doors and they are road legal too.
There is a CAN PID for the lights for sure. The issue is, that there is no standard PID for headlights in the OBD protocol. So with the way the Canchecked display in usually connected you cannot get to that information.
Just got some additional feedback. Unfortunately the OBD port does not provide any information about the headlights so they are not able to include the auto brightness feature into their firmware.
I talked to the Canchecked Support about the dimming feature. They told me that you need two swipes to adjust the brightness in different levels. Not ideal but at least it is possible without to much work.
I also suggested to them that maybe it would be a good idea to monitor the headlights...
OK, so you meant the auto high beam feature? I thought you found a way to disable the automatic headlights stuff where it switches between daytime running lights and the normal headlights.
Impressive list of mods. I guess there is not much police around your location ;)
Still, you should at least consider removing your license plate from the pictures...
