Does anyone know what the current state of the ballot queue/how many people have actually ordered/how many coming into the UK? I assume Toyota are just working their way down the list, and if someone says no, the next lucky sole gets the choice. I really wanted an auto but just trying to decide...

I have received an online check in ahead of my 2nd service. It has a number of extras to consider, for example Air Conditioning Sanitisation (£39), MOT Fuel System Cleaner (£19), 1 litre Engine Oil Top Up (£15), etc, etc. Has anyone needed / selected any of these???

Hi, I am based in Stratford upon Avon and need to get the 2nd service booked in for the GRY (22 plate). There is a local Listers here, but should I go to Coventry Listers, which is the nearest GR centre. Has anyone had experience of either locations regarding servicing their GRY's? Thanks!!!

After the initial Toyota email of the ballot results, have many people been contacted that missed out on the first round of results? I am just trying to gauge if it's worth waiting for a MK2 allocation slot or just give up and start looking for something else.... (UK based).

Thanks for the heads up on that issue. I will be buying 2nd hand, so hoping any issues like that would have been dealt with, plus I will test drive anyway and will now check for that! All of the Japanese cars I have owned (Mazda/Toyota/Honda) have all had some sort of gearbox "issues" crunchy...

No for me as well.... I would have definitely gone for the auto if I had got an allocation. Never mind... might swap to a CTR now as I feel the gearbox is the weak point in the mk1 and don't want to mess around changing things for warranty purposes.

So approximately 8% increase on top model or 14% if 8AT... so under £40k for manual and over for the auto (UK). Interesting if they keep the auto under £40k for UK market because of the higher road tax.... probably not! :-(

Tempted with the auto, but if it's £40k+ in the UK then that will be really annoying due to the tax issue. Plus, don't forget any new car in 2024 onwards will have the speed limiter issue. So expect another button to press and turn it off when you get in and drive...

Forgot to add if anyone is selling a black, CP 2022 onwards and getting a rubbish trade in price, then please let me know as I could be tempted by a low mileage, std car, instead of trying to find a new one.
