Added another layer of dirt to my evolving art project, known as ‘poor little filthy car’.

Took it to see its fancy bigger Rally 2 brother on the North West stages. Saw a couple of friendlies in the car park 👋

Sadly the rear wing didn’t fall off, scuppering my hopes of grabbing it and running off into the forest.

Hi ! That’s my 86 😃 I was there yesterday and walked past you on your way out after the first stage run. I was going to say I liked the wheels as I walked past but you had your window up.
We stayed for the 2nd run that was much much better as we saw the whole field go through.
I am just waiting on the Yaris price before committing on which way my car choice will be.

2000km today, just did an engine oil change, Ravenol DFE.
Noticed that the filter from the factory was "made in Japan". Looks better than the "made in China" I got from the dealer.
Factory one was 90915-10009, I got YZZM3.
Anyone noticed that too? Any look finding the 10009 in Toyota?

Already bought diffs and gearbox oils, probably will change them around 4000km

Windows up and heater on! 😀

It was originally touch and go whether we could stay til the end, but with the delay had to get off during the window where the stage was reopened. Seems like there was an unfortunate amount of chaos that morning.

Hopefully a little warmer and less hail at the Ceredigion later in the year 👍

could be worth it changing all the oils already now that you're at it instead of waiting, since your have planned already :)

Yes it was very tough going for all the event team and marshals etc the afternoon ran well but the weather was awful.
Hopefully better at Ceredigion 👍🏻 may even be in a new Yaris by then 🤡

Amazed again at what a little set-up can deliver in terms of feel. Today it was as simple as letting 0,2bar out of the tyres and *bam*, the steering and grip feel I was missing in my wheel and tyre combo number twentyeleven was magically there. Reminder to elaborate with that, geo, tyres, wheels, bushes etc roughly in that order before changing car ;)

Good thing I swapped to the summer wheels on saturday, because today it's snowing! 🤣
I'm not really known to be an optimist, but I guess this was a rare exception.
So long it doesn't freeze on the ground, no issue.

Monte life FTW 🤘 ;)
