Picked up my car yesterday (Silver MT) and within a couple of hours it was pressed into daily duties bouncing around town between meetings… (definitely experienced a slightly enhanced ‘find the right parking space’ anxiety)
Dealer was still waiting for delivery of the spoiler and parking sensors, but I couldn’t wait, so I’ll get them fitted in a week or 2.
Seeing my own car was the first time I’d seen a silver one and I’m 100% happy with that choice - exactly the look I was hoping for…
8 miles on the odometer on delivery (is that about average?) - now 60 miles in. I’ll hopefully get that number up a good bit over the weekend, but man is it hard to keep it below 4k rpm..!
@leosayer audio settings are a big improvement - cheers
2.2 bar pressure in the tyres feels pretty good and *might* have reduced the tyre noise

This happened to me this morning, they told me that the 3 day insurance was declined and needed to get my own and send certificate to them to register the car. I was quoted over £2000 originally which is ludicrous! Anyways all sorted and I collect mine tomorrow afternoon at 4pm. Happy days
Toyota online couldn't/wouldn't tell me the reason. I even spoke to Toyota insurance themselves who at first said there's no reason it shouldn't go ahead and then called back in 10 minutes to say sorry it wouldn't let him do it and he can't tell me the reason why..
Honestly I was going mad! Toyota wouldn't register it without proof of insurance and the first 5 quotes I did wouldn't insure the car as it wasn't on the database! Toyota said sorry they can't help but they have had a customer recently with this car that managed it. 6th quote luckily worked but ended up paying £100 extra on the other quotes .
I actually had email confirmation from the online team that it had all gone through a week or so ago as it wasn't straight forward... seems like it needs to be checked on the collection day!
